Michelle is no stranger to tragedy, she experienced a significant loss when her father died when she was younger. As such, she understands the grief, pain, and loss her clients experience during unplanned trauma, and is able to fearlessly advocate for her clients.

Michelle graduated with honors from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.  While at USC, Michelle interned with Congressman Brad Sherman, in Sherman Oaks, where she had the privilege of interacting with many community members.

 

Michelle received her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.  While in law school, Michelle participated in many on-campus activities, including the Iranian Law Students Association, Jewish Law Students Association, the Consumer Law Society, and also served as a senior editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review. As a senior editor, she led a team of a dozen staff editors through complex legal issues.

In addition to participating in on-campus activities, Michelle gained experience in different areas of law through various clerkships. Michelle externed with the District Attorney’s office in Compton, California, where she had the unique privilege of working in the Victim Impact Unit, helping many men and women escape domestic violence or domestic abuse.  Thereafter, Michelle clerked at a prominent plaintiff’s firm in Los Angeles, and worked on a wide variety of catastrophic cases. 

 

After law school, Michelle completed a prestigious post-graduate trial program with the American Board of Trial Advocates. In that program, she learned and received training from the most accomplished Plaintiff and Defense lawyers on how to effectively communicate her client’s case both inside and outside the courtroom.

 

Her passion for advocacy and persuasion is further cemented through her active participation in associations such as Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), and Los Angeles Trial Lawyer Charities (LATLC).

 

When Michelle is not advocating for her clients, she is either dancing, doing pilates, bonding with her family, or raising money and awareness for brain tumor research.
